Serving over 19,000 congregations, Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake aims to inspire and equip people of faith to honor, protect, and steward their shared watershed. Its One Water Partnership is a network of faith communities whose members have joined to care for their local waterways. Panel discussion will explore the origins of the initiative, introduce attendees to some of its partnering communities, and provide examples of how residents have impacted the practice of their faith, the health of their waterways and by extension the quality of life in their communities.
