Camilla Feibelman is the Director of the Sierra Club Rio Grande Chapter. She previously directed the national Sierra Student Coalition and helped to found the Puerto Rico Chapter of the Sierra Club where she worked for 8 years to protect a large swath of leatherback turtle nesting beach.
Camilla was a Fulbright Scholar in Peru in 1998 and was nominated by President Obama in 2013 as a Trustee of the Morris K and Stewart L. Udall Foundation. She graduated from Albuquerque High School, received a B.A. in Environmental Biology from Columbia University and a M.P. in Urban Planning from the University of Puerto Rico.
Camilla was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she now lives with her husband, stepdaughter, and son.
