As Co-Executive Director of the Prince Charitable Trusts, Carolynn Brunette oversees the strategic development of a $6.5 million grantmaking program focused on fostering equitable, resilient, and vibrant communities in Washington, DC, Chicago, IL, and Newport, RI. With over 25 years in the social sector, Carolynn is dedicated to supporting visionary leaders and building collaborative partnerships that drive meaningful change. Her experience includes work in southern Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer and capacity-building consultant, which deepened her appreciation for community empowerment. Additionally, Carolynn has held leadership positions on boards and in peer networks including current roles as Board Chair of the Friends of Anacostia Park, a member of the "Kitchen Cabinet" for the 11th Street Bridge Park, and the Advisory Council for the Conservation Fund’s Urban Conservation and Community Fellowship Program.
