Speaker Bio
Rachel Kline (she/her), is a science communicator with a lifelong passion for science and understanding. She is a Senior Program Associate with the Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Religion (DoSER) at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). She earned her B.S. in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from MIT, and her M.A. in Pharmacology from Boston University. She worked in project management at both nonprofits and commercial companies before joining AAAS in 2017 as Associate Editor for Science Robotics.

Rachel migrated to DoSER in 2019, where she not only gives workshops, but also creates content, puts together public events, and is co-PI on a project to connect science museums more deeply with their communities. Her work promotes broader inclusion in science spaces and helps reshape views on the intersections of science, ethics, and religion. Rachel’s science engagement approach is practical and compassionate, focused on how science impacts people’s lives.
