Description

Attractive and accessible spaces allow for deeper engagements with our communities and ourselves, creating moments of connection and introspection. In what ways does the creation and organization of community spaces allow for the intersection of social justice movements? Panel discussion will explore the role of landscape architecture in the creation and development of community spaces (bule, green, and built), the importance of communities’ lived experiences in informing design, and the role of access to decision making processes and physical community spaces in the creation of healthy, equitable, and sustainable neighborhoods.
